Three Dog Night is an American rock band best known for their music from 1968 to 1975. During that time the band charted 21 Billboard top 40 hits in America, three of which reached Number One. Three Dog Night became one of the most wildly successful bands of the late ’60s and early ’70s with hit records like “Joy to the World,” “One,” “Mama Told Me Not to Come,” “Black and White,” “An Old Fashioned Love Song,” “Eli’s Coming,” “Liar,” “Never Been To Spain,” “Sure As I’m Sittin’ Here,” “I Can Hear You Callin,'” “The Show Must Go On” and “Out in the Country.”
They earned 13 Gold Albums, recorded 21 Top 40 hits, and were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2000. The current lineup features founding members Cory Wells, Danny Hutton, Jimmy Greenspoon and Michael Allsup, along with longtime members Paul Kingery and Pat Bautz.
