We stayed at Royal Inn in mid March, 09 and felt like we were in a home away from home. Those working there tried very hard to make our visit pleasant. Bonnie, the housekeeper was always cheerful and wanted to do her job well. It is neat to see someone who truly cares about cleaning well and is concerned that she gets the sand off the floor each day.
Farah, who worked at the desk went way beyond what I would expect of her; encouraging us to try certain things (the wings at Hurricane harbor during happy hour are a phenomenal bargain) and helping us when we needed directions. Farah's mom was helpful also; she helped us with odds and ends and was quite kind to us as a family. The owner was quite hospitable and helpful. One morning the coffee pot ran out and he dropped what ever he was doing to make a pot right away. The breakfast was good each morning. I would recommend this motel highly.
