Lisa’s Kayaks and the Royal Inn Beach Hotel on Hutchinson Island have teamed up to provide you an outdoor adventure package for only $139 per night. The package includes either an Oceanview King or 2 Double bed guestroom with balcony, complimentary breakfast with made-to-order waffles, WIFI, parking and a guided kayak tour for up to 2 people. Additional guests can also participate in the guided kayak tour for $25 each.
Start at the North Hutchinson lsland boat ramp, approximately 5 minutes from the Royal Inn, and head upriver to one of the Spoil Islands. Whether you are on a family vacation or a snowbird, kayaks are very easy to paddle, enjoyable and the tour offers tons of wildlife spotting. Guided tours are available on Thursdays & Saturdays at 10:30AM-12:30PM through the end of 2011 and daily from January 1 through the summer of 2012.

The tasty lure of the spiny lobster tail is beginning to call Florida divers again.

On the final consecutive Wednesday and Thursday of July each year (July 28 and 29 this year), the annual 48-hour spiny lobster sport season takes place in state waters.
