BK Jackson is returning to the Sunrise Theatre by popular demand!

BK Jackson, a native of Tampa, Florida, is young, energetic, saxophone sensation that has been electrifying audiences for several years. On stage, his youthfulness explodes as he commands his audience with a maturity well beyond his years. BK first starting performing at the tender age of 11, and has opened and shared the stage with renowned artists such as: Fantasia, Kirk Whalum, Brian Culbertson, Wayman Tisdale, Gerald Albright, Pieces of a Dream, Ledisi, Eric Darius, Kirk Franklin, Chaka Khan, Brian McKnight, Arturo Sandoval, Roy Ayers, Tony Bennett and the legendary B.B. King. BK has performed at numerous festivals including the Clearwater Jazz Holiday, Seabreeze Jazz Festival, Capital Jazz Festival, Jacksonville Jazz Festival, BB Jazz Festival and at many Major League Baseball parks around the nation.

He was the youngest winner of The Capital Jazz Challenge in Columbia, MD, the Tampa Bay Entertainer of the Year – First Annual Diamond Awards, and was also a gold medalist in the Music Instrumental Contemporary category at the NAACP ACT-SO national competition. He co-wrote most of the songs on his debut CD, On the Move, which was released in 2008.
